Lambert Ringlage, known by his stage name ‘Lambert’, began his musical career in the 1980s. Originally coming from a rock ‘n’ roll background, he discovered his passion for electronic music through the band Tangerine Dream. After his first forays into the scene on cassette, he achieved his breakthrough in the early 1990s with the album “Inside Out”. His style, often compared to that of greats such as Jean-Michel Jarre, quickly earned him recognition within the scene, including top rankings in the prestigious “Schwingungen” listeners’ poll.
Alongside his solo career, his artistic output has been shaped by numerous collaborations, such as those with Stephen Parsick or the “Hypnosphere” project. At the same time, he established his own label and online shop, “Spheric Music”, to support other electronic music artists. After a lengthy creative hiatus, he made an impressive comeback in 2014 with the hit track “Drachenreise”, continuing the tradition of the Berlin School. With the album “Bon Courage”, announced for 2023 and featuring a collaboration with Johannes Schmoelling among others, he continues to forge his path between classic sequencer music and modern sounds.
